Mark D. Fleming, MD

Dr. Fleming received his medical degree from The University of Arizona, where he received the “Outstanding Senior Student in Surgery” award. He completed an internship in General Surgery at the Mayo Clinic, Arizona and his residency in General Surgery also at the Mayo Clinic, Arizona. Dr. Fleming completed a Vascular Surgery Fellowship at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota, where he also served as Instructor of Surgery at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine.

Dr. Fleming’s strengths lie in performing highly complex procedures on arteries and veins throughout the body, including the abdomen and the lower extremities. He has participated in numerous research projects on a wide spectrum of topics, and has co-authored many papers in medical journals. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery.

Dr. Fleming is married and has three children, and enjoys water skiing, snow skiing, flying and gardening in his spare time.
